Project Management

Assystem Energy and Infrastructure have a number of Mechanical/ Electrical Design Engineering vacancies at all levels. (The description below is a guideline only, refer to Energy and Infrastructure Vacancies for current roles being advertised)

Basic Requirements

The Project Management community is expected to be numerate, with good written and verbal skills. Assytem has a detailed Project Management Handbook, QA Processes, referenced documents, QA processes and appropriate forms which the Project Manager would have a full understanding and knowledge.  He/ She must also be aware of relevant external standards, legislation and directives. Experience of project management within a highly regulated industry is the key requirement for PMs and SPMs. For PEs a business qualification and/or a scientific qualification is considered advantageous. SPMs are expected to hold industry recognised qualifications and certifications to an advanced level.

As a Project Manager you will:

1. Maintain appropriate records for projects to demonstrate compliance with Assystem UK Ltd, client and regulatory processes

2. Challenge any processes or behaviours that reduce team efficiency

3. Identify areas for improvement and propose improvements to the Head of Project Management

4. Seek and identify opportunities for personal improvement

5. Work in conjunction with the lead engineer to select and maintain SQEP resource to deliver project

6. Support bid and tender processes as required
