“I graduated from university and came straight to Assystem as a first job so was uncertain what to expect. Since then I have been with the company 18 months and in that time have been given the opportunity to establish a fast pace of development that suits me and gain a variety of project experiences through independent work.  I moved across the country to join the company and have settled in well in the North East due to what the location has to offer, great colleagues and social side of the office.  I have not only enjoyed my time since starting but have been well rewarded for my efforts.”

I previously had 5 years experience producing drawings for Sellafield using AutoCAD, but Assystem opened up the world of 3D modelling and offered the opportunity gain further qualifications.I started a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2008 for which I was sponsored by Assystem. This would take 4 years of commitment and hard work from myself while Assystem would allow the day off and reduced hours while I attend University on a part time basis.  I graduated in 2012 with a 1st Class honours degree thanks to the support from Assystem. Having developed with Assystem, I am now a Mechanical Engineer, fully competent as a 3D Modeller/Designer/Draughtsman and I also have good report writing, stress analysis and calculations capabilities.
